We absolutely loved our stay at The Leland Lodge !! Brian and his staff treat their guests like family ! The location is great, walkable to Main st, Fishtown and Vans beach. Beautiful grounds alongside the golf course with great views. Our room was very comfortable and spotlessly clean with a great outdoor balcony to enjoy the cool fall weather! We had a fantastic dinner at the restaurant and the service could not have been better! Sitting by a roaring fire and gazing up at the night sky was the highlight of our stay ! You can always make new friends sitting around a firepit enjoying a local wine !! We look forward to our next trip to The Leland Lodge very soon !!

If you're going to Leland, this is the place to stay! They are open year-round (which was great for my short, winter getaway). The Lodge's nearly 100 year history is displayed throughout the building. Whether it be the old pictures hanging throughout the building, the craftsmanship in the woodwork, or the stone and mortar fireplace in the lobby! Stepping into that lobby feels like walking into a warm log cabin, by the way. The Murphy beds in the room were a nice touch as well. There is also a sports bar in the lobby, and a fine-dining restaurant/wine cellar in the back. It's just an all-around cozy experience. I hope to visit again in the summer!

We stayed at the lodge for our niece’s wedding. It was fabulous! The staff was so welcoming and professional, making us feel right at home. There were many nice touches, like the chocolate chip cookies in our room and bikes to take right out front for a quick jaunt. Breakfast is set up in the dining room and it’s just right, serve yourself and enjoy! The grounds are beautifully maintained and sitting on the deck or patio with a drink is really special. Our rooms were spacious and well thought out. We had a terrific stay!!

This was our first time staying at The Leland Lodge, and it exceeded our expectations on every front. Even before we arrived, Brian reached out to ensure our needs were accommodated, which set the tone for an exceptional stay. The beds were incredibly comfortable, the robes in our room were a great touch, and the restaurant and service were outstanding. Every little detail, from the complimentary bikes to the chocolate and chocolate chip cookies, made our experience feel personal and memorable. We will only stay at The Leland Lodge when visiting the peninsula.

Our 2 night stay at the historic Leland Lodge was wonderful. The room was spacious, comfortable, and very clean. The staff was professional, helpful, and friendly. A light breakfast with fresh fruit, muffins, breads, coffee, tea, and yogurt was provided. We had a delicious dinner on the patio overlooking the nearby golf course with Lake Leelanau in the distance. Leland is a beautiful and welcoming community. We are thinking about having our family reunion next year at the Leland Lodge.

Stayed one night at Leland Lodge for a Christmas Party in Suttons Bay. Easy check in. Nice bar area and lounge with fireplace. Morning coffee and light breakfast. Room was very spacious and clean. Easy walk into town. First time staying there and will definitely stay again.

We stayed at the lodge for two nights during our Lake Michigan Circle Tour through Wisconsin and Michigan. We stayed near the end of October, and we experienced the cozy rooms and lovely restaurant. We loved using the bikes to check out the town. The rooms were spacious and we had a great view of the trees that are changing leaves. The bartender was friendly and mixed up some great cocktails. We enjoyed their great coffee and bakery treats at breakfast, and loved learning about the historic property. The complementary drinks and snacks were a nice surprise. It was great that they had an EV charging station, too.

We were visiting with 4 other couples for the weekend. I can’t say enough about how accommodating the staff was at any given time. We had cocktails in the pub and then dinner in the restaurant Saturday night. It was delicious and the waitstaff were great! The rooms are spacious and cozy. We loved The Lodge!!

Having gone to Leland yearly for most of my adult life, I never knew all I was missing at the Leland Lodge! Upon arrival, the front desk staff was so welcoming. The homemade cookies in the room were a fun (and yummy) added touch. The rooms were some of the cleanest we’ve experienced. The setting is gorgeous and we enjoyed our time immensely. We will be back!
